Elementor suggestions.

August 15, 2019

Hi everyone, I have made this post because I want to start a series of Elementor “How to’s and Tips & Tricks”. I’m a web developer and by doing this I’m hoping to help out the community :).

So, if you have any suggestions or things that you encountered and couldn’t find a solution comment below and I will create a post for you and hopefully for everyone else who have the same issue.

Cheers 🙂

  1. Going on 3 months now I can’t get any clarity on the use of PX, REM, EM, and % in terms of font size choices in Elementor.
The responses I have gotten are so technical they make no sense to me (and others).
I can’t find an Elementor video on this subject either.
I would love to know what is best to use for text blocks and headings in Elementor in SIMPLE TERM.

  2. Unfortunately that doesn’t help me know which to use.
Everyone I ask gives me a different answer.
I’ve started to use VW for fonts and it seems ok….i think.
What do you use for text blocks and headings?

The projects you’ve done are fantastic btw.

    1. Hi Lauren,

      Thanks :).
Well if VW works for you than is ok, i would suggest using EM, that’s what I’m using :).
      All the best.

  3. I’m using the free Elementor Hello child theme and I’d like to use a few custom fonts. I noticed only the Pro version has Custom Fonts functionality, so I’m trying to see if doing it the manual way works but I’m stuck. I’m not even sure this works, but hopefully you can find out! I uploaded my custom fonts to my server and added them to the child theme’s style.css, but I don’t know what to do next to see if it worked. For example, if I want to find out if my custom fonts worked on my page headings, how do I go about doing that?
